The Worlds cheapest car were launched by Tata Motors in Mumbai, India. Tata Nano, cost around $2,000 only for the basic version but if taxes and dealers charges are included, the Nano will cost 112,735 Indian rupees. This latest gadget Nano car will be available and hit Indian road this coming July. They will picked randomly to the first 100,000 owners who made bookings from April 9-25.
The Nano car is 10.2 feet long, has one windshield wiper, a 623cc rear engine and a diminutive trunk.
This cheapest car arrives six month late because of violent protest by farmers and opposition political party leaders.
Tata Motors has been hit by global downturn. Its shares have dropped 70 percent as India's growth slows, and consumers have hard enough to buy affordable car loans.
